Once KK has been successfully loaded, it's easy to update any of your old plugin database entries, by running "Add to plugin database" from the plugin wrapper. (Note the importance of loading it from the 'New' category, not from anywhere else). So in FL Studio, I rescanned all my plugins (using the option to "rescan previously verified plugins"), after which KK was available as a 'new' plugin, and could be successfully loaded from here:įL Studio Browser > Plugin Database > Installed > Generators > New > Komplete Kontrol The one for loading Komplete Kontrol was generated with an earlier version, and it seems to crash KK 2.1.0. I've been able to fix it, and it seems to me that the problem was that most methods of loading a plugin in FL Studio (and there are many methods) will use the *.fst files from the plugin database:Ĭ:\Users\\Documents\Image-Line\Data\FL Studio\Presets\Plugin database\Generators\ I've had exactly the same problem, namely Komplete Kontrol 2.1.0 R4 worked fine in stand-alone mode, but crashed as a VST plugin in FL Studio 20.1.
